North Caucasus Czechs in Political Essays by Slovak Writer Peter Jilemnický

Аbstract: The article analyzes social and political essays from the cycles Two Years in the Country of the Soviets and On Fight and Labor of Soviet People written by the Slovak writer Petr (Peter) Jilemnický, about the life of ethnic Czechs and Slovaks in North Caucasus in the early Soviet period. The essays were based on Jilemnický’s personal observations. The author of this article has translated these essays into Russian.
