Abstract

The article deals with the preservation of historical and cultural heritage of the Great Patriotic War in the socio- cultural aspect of the process of success symbolization. The classification of heritage sites of World War II is based on the type of transferring of the value concepts. An analysis of the complex of monuments located in the Park of the 30th Anniversary of the Victory in Armavir revealed their educational potential, that is regarded as a resource for the stability of the social, cultural and economic development. The authors note that the symbols of success reflected in the historical and cultural heritage are leading the reconstruction of socio-cultural factors of everyday reality.
