О недопустимости использования психиатрии в культурологических дискуссиях

Аннотация

The article is devoted to the critical analysis of K. Rybak and Yu. Izbachkov’s article “The Image of Natalia Rokotova as the Key to Understanding the Creative Method of Helena Ivanovna Roerich” published in the journal The Heritage of Centuries (2019, Is. 2). It is indicated that Rybak and Izbachkov are trying to use incorrect psychopathological data for the devaluation of the religious-philosophical doctrine and the personality of Helena Roerich. The authors of this article criticize the attempt to present the Agni Yoga teachings only as a consequence of Helena’s mental disorder. In their opinion, such an approach reflects the tendency of psychiatric stigmatization and is not acceptable in a scientific publication.
